A consistent weekly routine helps catch problems before heat and hard water turn them into larger issues.
Routine weekly items
Skim leaves, dust, and surface debris
Brush walls, steps, benches, and tile line
Vacuum or run an automatic cleaner as needed
Test sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and other chemistry as appropriate
Empty skimmer and pump baskets
Check filter pressure and equipment pad for visible leaks or unusual sounds
Monitor water level and note unexpected drops
